Viterbo Baseball to kick off fall portion of season this weekend

LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Baseball team will play the fall portion of their season this weekend in a four-game series at Lincoln Christian University in Lincoln, Ill. The series, which will be two double headers, will take place starting at 1:00 p.m. CST on Friday and 12:00 p.m. CST on Saturday.

The V-Hawks finished the 2020-21 season 17-25 overall and 12-16 in conference play. They finished the season on a three-game win streak. Lincoln Christian posted a 12-19 overall record in the 2020-21 season. Lincoln Christian played Lincoln Land Community College back on September 9 and lost 2-8, making them 0-1 on the fall. Viterbo has yet to play a Varsity game this fall. Ben Strassman is set to take the mound for the V-Hawks to kick things off in game one.
