Bio

Katlin Grapes enters her second year as part of the Athletic Training staff for Viterbo University.  Prior to becoming an Athletic Trainer for the V-Hawks, Grapes was a Graduate Assistant for Southern Illinois University from August 2019 to April 2021.   At SIU, she worked primarily with the women’s volleyball team and also assisted with baseball for the shortened 2020 season.  

Grapes received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota where she gained experience with many different sports including football, soccer, gymnastics and basketball.   Her longest clinical rotations were with the football and softball teams at Winona State along with the softball team at St. Mary’s University, also located in Winona, Minnesota.  After receiving her BS in Athletic Training, Grapes received her Masters degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Southern Illinois University.   

Grapes is originally from Onalaska, Wisconsin and attended Onalaska High School.  One of her favorite hobbies is crafting and she enjoys doing her own projects such as creating t-shirts and signs.  Katlin and her fiance, Kyle are “paw-rents” to their calico cat named Kallie.
