Rohde Named Academic All-America First-Team

AUSTIN, Texas – College Sports Communicators (CSC) has officially released their 2023 Academic All-America Volleyball Teams, and Viterbo's Grace Rohde has been selected to the All-America First-Team.

The teams are split between NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, while the student athletes are nominated and voted on by college and university Sports Information Directors and Athletics Communications staff, as well as CSC staff.

To be nominated, athletes must at least be a sophomore athletically and academically, hold at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA, and must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the games/contests.

Rohde, a senior Engineering student, was the only member of the First-Team to hold a 4.0 GPA. On the court, she was a Second-Team All-American, while recording 507 kills (3.67/set, .225 hitting percentage), which was the 12th most in the NAIA, 416 digs and 779 receptions. Rohde posted 49 total blocks (six solo), 39 service aces, and 14 assists.
