Wingo Named NSAA Field Athlete of the Week

BISMARK, ND – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has officially released the final edition of its Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the week, and Viterbo's Olivia Wingo has been selected as the Field Athlete of the Week. This is her first time collecting the honor, and she is joined by Dakota State's Lindsey Roth as the Track Athlete of the Week.

Wingo produced the NAIA 'A' automatic qualifying mark in the NCAA Division III outdoor track & field meet, Battle in the Bluffs hosted by the University of Dubuque (Iowa). She captured the pole vault title by clearing the national automatic qualifying mark of 3.65 meters (11feet, 11.75 inches). Wingo cleared the height of 1.50 meters (4 feet, 11 inches) to place fifth in the high jump. She also recorded a time of 12.64 seconds for a sixth-place finish in the 100-meter dash for the V-Hawks.

Wingo and the V-Hawks now look ahead to the NSAA Outdoor Championship Meet.
