Anderson Earns Second Straight Track Athlete of the Week Honor

BISMARK, ND – The north Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has officially released the second edition of its Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week. Viterbo's Jalen Anderson was selected as the Track Athlete of the Week for the second straight week. He is joined by Treshawn Roberts of Dakota State (S.D.) as the Field Athlete-of-the-Week.

Anderson reached the NAIA 'A' automatic qualifying time in the 110-meter hurdles for Viterbo (Wis.) at the NCAA Division III meet, the University of Dubuque-Mississippi River Rumble.  He clocked a time of 14.54 seconds to earn a third-place finish in the race.  He leads the North Star Athletic Association in the 110-meter hurdles.  Anderson added a time of 11.05 seconds in the 100-meter dash, placing 10th.

Anderson and the V-Hawks look ahead to the Saturday for the Minnesota State-Mankato Open Saturday.
