MADISON, S.D. – The Viterbo Men's Basketball team (11-9) picked up another thrilling NSAA win on Saturday night against Dakota State, 68-67. Brady Polk hit a game winning jumper with two seconds left to give the V-Hawks the win and improve to 5-2 in conference play.
Robert Cunitz had his second 20+ point game in as many days as he led the V-Hawks, shooting 53% from the field and 50% from three. Polk scored 14 points, including the game-winning shot and contributed a team-high four assists. Jack Monis posted a double-double, collecting 11 rebounds and 13 points.
The game marked the end of the first half of NSAA play for the V-Hawks. The conference schedule will flip next weekend, as Viterbo is set to host Dakota State. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 PM CST. Follow the action on our website or by following us on social media.
