ABERDEEN, S.D. – The Viterbo Men's Basketball team (7-8) returned to conference play on Friday night as the team traveled to South Dakota to face the Saints of Presentation College (8-7). The V-Hawks scored 44 points off the bench to propel themselves to a victory, 79-68.
Viterbo sophomore Dakota Mannel led the V-Hawks with a career-high 21 points and nine rebounds off the bench. Noah Fredrickson contributed another 17 points off the bench, shooting 60 percent from the field on the night. Robert Cunitz rounded out the trio of V-Hawks scoring double-digits, adding 11 points of his own.
The V-Hawks moved to 1-1 in conference play and will face Mayville State University tomorrow night. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 PM CST. Follow the action on our website or by following us on social media.
