SAAC Earns Student Organization Project of the Year
LA CROSSE, Wis.- The Viterbo Atlhetics Student Athlete Advisotry Committee was recognized alongside RHA and SGA at the Student Recognition Ceremony on April 10th. The three groups were awarded Student Organization Project of the Year for their hard work and dedication to the Winter Formal that took place in February.
The three organizations started the process of creating this event for students in September of 2022 and worked over the course of 17 months to ensure the Masquerade Enchanted Forst Dance was a night to enjoy for all students. These groups hard work was seen through hours of meetings spent planning every detail, store and Facebook marketplace runs, and transforming the FSPA lobby into a magical forest as well as back into a room once the dance was completed. The event was a huge success, and the student body is excited to see a tradition created from it. Great job to all of the organizations, students, and advisors who put in long hours of effort for this event!
A number of individual student-athletes won individual awards as well. Congratulations to all the V-Hawks!
