LA CROSSE, Wis. -- Taariq Ganga made three saves on Wednesday afternoon to help the Bellevue University men's soccer team to a 0-0 draw at Viterbo University.
BU sees their record change to 1-2-2 on the year while Viterbo moves to 1-0-2.
Viterbo out-shot BU 8-6 in the first half despite the Bruins compiling an 8-0 corner kick advantage in the period.
The second half saw BU take a narrow 5-3 edge in corners while recording 12 shots to Viterbo's three.
Final stats saw Bellevue own an 18-11 margin in shots and 7-3 advantage in shots on goal.
Ombeni Mubake led all players with four shots as seven different Bruins found the target with their attempts.
Ernesto Ascenzo secured seven saves of his own to preserve the deadlock.
Bellevue hosts York University on Saturday, Sept. 2 for a 7:30 p.m. kick-off from Papillion Landing.
