Newbauer Leads V-Hawks at GLBC III

ROCKFORD, Ill. – The Viterbo University Women's Bowling team competed at the GLBC III this past weekend. The V-Hawks finished 3 out of 10 teams with a total of 6552 pins, 2393 coming from the baker games.

Emily Newbauer swept the competition with a first place finish averaging 212.20 pins over five games, totaling 1061 making the All Tournament team.

Ceri Deacon knocking 822 pins over 5 games (164.4 avg) placed 11^th with Holly Santucci one place behind with 816 pins (163.2 avg). The next V-Hawk finisher Thea Laffin placed 46^th with 487 pins over three games (162.33 avg). Also bowling three games Courtney Keller would knock 416 pins in 50^th, followed by Heidi Kloostra in 52^nd with 281 over two games. The final V-Hawk finisher bowling two games was Maddie Schwartz.

The V-Hawks return to action February 1 at GLBC Number Four.
