Sanchez Named Pitcher of the Week

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) has released their eighth edition of the Baseball Players of the Week. Anthony Sanchez was selected as Pitcher of the Week.

Sanchez, a Fontana, Calif. native pitched a full seven inning game in their third game against Calumet College of St. Joseph. He struck out five batters and allowed two walks, posting a K/9 ration of 6.43 in the game. On the week Sanchez posted an earned run average of 0 in seven innings and limited Calumet to two hits.

Jaenke and the V-Hawks are back on the field Tuesday April 15 to host Clarke University.
