ERAU got on the board in the second inning as Emma Almodoba (Tucson, Ariz.) reached base on a fielder's choice.  Almodoba came in to score on a double by Jaden Espinoza (Tucson, Ariz.) and put Embry-Riddle ahead 1-0.

The Eagles added to their lead in the bottom of the 4th inning as Diana Miranda Montano (Tucson, Ariz.) led off the inning with a solo homerun.  Autumn Sulusi (Kaneohe, Hawaii) then reached first on a single and was able to advance to second on an error.  Sulusi scored on Espinoza's second hit of the day.

Embry-Riddle added an insurance run in the bottom of the 5th inning.  Leah Salas (Sahuarita, Ariz.) was hit by a pitch to get on to first base.  Bradee Jeffery (Manteca, Calif.) pinch ran for Salas and advanced to second on a single by Miranda Montano.  A sac bunt by Kate Delaney (Fort Collins, Colo.) advanced both the runners.  Jeffery came around to score on a fielding error and ERAU went on to win the game 4-0.

Game 2

ERAU took a little while to get their bats going in the second game of the day as the Fighting Saints jumped on top 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning.

Sulusi had the first Eagle hit of the game in the top of the 3rd with a solo homerun to tie the score at 1-1.

The Fighting Saints and Eagles were tied until the top of the 5th inning when Embry-Riddle added three more runs.  Sulusi started the rally with a single and then Jeffery was walked to put runners at first and second base.  Maddie Judge (Oro Valley, Ariz.) hit a single that scored Sulusi and both Judge and Jeffery scored on a single by Miranda Montano.  After five innings of play, ERAU led 4-1.

The Eagles added two more runs in the top of the 7th inning.  Espinoza was walked and her pinch runner Alexus Marquez (Las Vegas, Nev.) scored a run on a double by Delaney.  After a single by Almodoba, Delaney was able to advance to 3rd base.  Delaney came in to score on a single by Sulusi and Embry-Riddle went on to win game two 6-2.

Claire Streeter (San Marino, Calif.) earned the win in the second game as she scattered eight hits during her seven innings of work.

Game 3

After going down 1-0 in the top of the first inning to Viterbo, Embry-Riddle answered back with four runs right away in the bottom of the 1st

Judge and Natalie Gonzalez (Poway, Calif.) were both walked to begin the inning.  Miranda Montano then had another hit and picked up another RBI when Judge came around to score.  A single by Sam Holbert (Gilbert, Ariz.) scored both Gonzalez and Miranda Montano and made the score 3-1 Eagles.  Holbert scored on a double by Sulusi and after one complete inning, ERAU was up 4-1.

Embry-Riddle added to their lead in the second inning with three more runs.  Another double by Sulusi brought in both Gonzales and Salas.  Tatum Chestnut (Peoria, Ariz.) earned an RBI when her single brought in Sulusi to make the score 7-1 Eagles.

The V-Hawks threatened in the 4th inning, but Embry-Riddle pitcher Delaney was able to get out of a bases loaded jam with a big strikeout.

Salas and Holbert reached for the Eagles to start the bottom of the 4th.  Sulusi came up with another hit which allowed Salas to score and Holbert to advance to second.  A double by Chestnut plated Holbert and moved Sulusi over to third base.  Marquez then hit a triple to center field to clear the bases.  Marquez came around to score on a sacrifice fly by Camille Graham (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) and after four innings, Embry-Riddle led Viterbo 12-2.
