Dryden Named NSAA Athlete of the Week

BISMARK, ND – The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) has officially announced the second edition of the Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week on Tuesday, and Viterbo's Payton Dryden was selected as the Women's Field Athlete of the Week.

Dryden, a Senior from La Crescent, Minn., secured the gold medal at the UW-Platteville Pioneer Open in the Discus Throw with a toss of                38.31m (125' 8"). She also added a sixth place finish in the Hammer Throw with a mark of 41.64m (136' 7").

This is Dryden's first Athlete of the Week Award.

Dryden and the V-Hawks now look forward to the University of Dubuque Good Friday Open this Friday, April 7 at Douglas J. Miller Track in Dubuque, Iowa.
