Jim Socha Named Women's Golf Head Coach

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Viterbo University has officially announced Jim Socha as the second Head Women’s Golf Coach in school history. Socha will succeed Ken Barrett, following his 16 years of service that began with the V-Hawks inaugural season in 2007.

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Ken Barrett, the Head Coach of the Viterbo University Women’s Golf team, has officially announced his retirement after 16 years at the helm of the team. Barrett is the only coach in the history of the program.
V-Hawks Take Second at NSAA Meet; Four V-Hawks Collect All-Conference Laurels

BELLEVUE, Neb.- The Viterbo Women’s Golf team finished second at the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) women’s conference golf meet. For the first day of the tournament, the V-Hawks scored 380 points and improved to 364 on the second day. The team was 71 strokes behind Bellevue (Neb.) for first place, and 7 strokes ahead of Waldorf (Iowa) for third place.
V-Hawks Take Second in Snowy Spring Meet

TREMPEALEAU, Wis- The Viterbo University Women’s Golf team hosted their spring home meet at Trempealeau Mountain on April 22. The team finished second out of five teams at the Viterbo Invitational. The V-Hawks finished +50 for a score of 334.

ONALASKA, Wis.- The Viterbo University Women’s Golf team finished second out of five teams at the UWL Spring Invite on Sunday afternoon. The V-Hawks were +61, bringing a total score of 345.
V-Hawks Compete at Blugold Invitational

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women’s Golf team finished ninth out of 12 teams at the UW-Eau Claire Georgianni-Blugold Invite this weekend. The V-Hawks scored 355 on the first day to reach seventh place, then improved their score to 353 on Sunday, but dropped to ninth. Their total score of 708 was +136.

Beyer Finishes Top Ten at Falcon Invite

PRESCOTT, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women’s Golf team finished fifth out of nine teams in the UW-River Falls Falcon Invite at the Clifton Highlands Golf Course. Viterbo had a second day score of 347, 26 strokes better than day one, for a total score of 720 (+144). The Viterbo B-Team finished eighth at 784.

PRESCOTT, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women’s Golf team currently sits in fifth place at the end of the first day of the UW-River Falls Falcon Invite at Clifton Highlands Golf Course. The V-Hawks are sitting at a score of 373, 85 over par, which is good enough for fifth out of nine team. The Viterbo B-Team is sitting at eight with 398 (+110).
