V-Hawks Compete in GLBC #2

ASHWAUBENON, Wis. – The Viterbo University Women's Bowling team competed at the GLBC #2 this past weekend. The V-Hawks finished fifth out of 10 teams with a total of 6637pins, 2491 from the backer games, two V-Hawks finishing in the top 10.

Emily Newbauer, ranked 28th in the nation, led the V-Hawks with a first-place finish, averaging 210.4 pins over five games (1052 total).

Holly Santucci followed, taking 3rd place with a total of 953 (190.6 average) pins over five games. Madelyn Schwartz came in 32nd with a total of 740 pins (148 average), while Thea Laffin would take 47th with a total of 435 (145 average) over three games. Ceri Deacon would be the next V-Hawk finisher taking 50th, knocking 417 (139 average) over three games, followed by Samantha Molling with 415 pin (138.33 average) over three games. Heidi Kloostra, final V-Hawk to compete, with 134 pins over one game.

The V-Hawks return to action November 2-3 at the Big Ole Open.
