Hughes Named CCAC Defensive Player of the Week

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference has officially announced the second edition of their Women's Basketball Players of the Week, and Viterbo's Marley Hughes has been selected for the defensive. This is Hughes' first time receiving the honor.

Hughes, a Chippewa Falls, Wis. native, led the V-Hawks with seven defensive rebounds (10 total), and four steals while also scoring 11 points on the offensive side during their conference opener against Holy Cross, starting out their first season in the conference with a win.           

Viterbo returns to action on Tuesday, November 26 as they host Governors State (IL) in their first CCAC home conference game.
