Viterbo Esports Wins First Match in Program History

LA CROSSE, Wis.  – The Viterbo University Esports team earned a win in the first ever match in program history on Tuesday. The V-Hawks Overwatch team defeated Keiser University-Jacksonville (Fla.) 3-1.

In the first game of the match, Viterbo claimed a 2-1 win in Control, played on Oasis. The Seahawks responded with a 5-4 Hybrid win on Kingsrow. On an Escort game on Route 66, Viterbo reclaimed the lead, winning 3-2, then put the match away with a 1-0 win in Push on Colosseo.

The V-Hawks Overwatch team returns to action on Tuesday, February 14 against University of Michigan-Flint.
